What we collect

Your email address (that's how sign-in works), your name if you share it, and your church's basics: name, location, timezone, logo, and brand details if you set them up.

The content you create and upload. In Anchor: sermon manuscripts, your conversations with the writing assistant, slides, handouts, devotionals, social posts, and images you add to your library. In Renew: the sermon videos your church uploads, the transcripts we generate from them, and the clips, devotionals, recaps, emails, and outreach created from those transcripts.

For congregation members who join with a church's invite link: their email, their name if shared, and the engagement they choose to save — notes, devotional progress, recap answers.

Basic product usage records — which features ran, when, and roughly how much they cost us to run. We use these to enforce fair-use quotas and understand our own costs, nothing else.

How we use it

To run the product: write and design alongside you, transcribe the sermon, generate the week's content, and show the right things to the right people. That's the whole list.

We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't put third-party trackers on your congregation.

AI processing

Manuscripts, transcripts, and assistant conversations are processed by our AI providers — Anthropic for writing and design, Groq for transcription — solely to produce your church's content.

We don't train models on your sermons, and our agreements with those providers mean they don't either.

Who can see what

Your church's content belongs to your church. Congregation members only see what a pastor has chosen to publish, and only for churches they've joined. Drafts, works-in-progress, and pipeline details are visible to your church's staff only. This is enforced on the server for every request — not just hidden in the interface.

Uploaded video and finished media are stored at unguessable addresses. Sermons are already publicly preached content; everything else stays inside your church.

Where it lives

Data is stored and processed with our infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting and file/video storage), Neon (database), and Railway (Renew's video processing). Sign-in links and church emails are delivered by Resend. Payments are handled by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers.

Cookies

We set exactly one cookie: a session cookie shared across the armor.foundation subdomains, so one sign-in works in every Armor tool. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies.

Your choices

Staff can delete any sermon — that permanently removes the video, transcript, manuscript, and everything generated from it. Want your account or your whole church removed? Email us and we'll do it promptly.

Children

Armor is built for churches and their staff. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
